Yamaha RX-A2A (Aventage)

Yamaha RX-A2A (Aventage)

With its powerful design, the RX-A2A is also built to deliver solid, premium sound. This impressive AV receiver will completely transform your home theater system with its professional audio and video quality.

As the world's leading manufacturer of musical instruments and audio equipment, Yamaha has every predisposition to express every sound as the artist or producer envisioned it. It reproduces sound in a way that provides a very detailed and precise timbre in every tone. Such impressive dynamics create the desired emotional contrast when listening. This alone creates the feeling that the listener is really a part of the music stage. Be it in music, film or exciting video game play.

We know that each ear hears sound in its own way. The reproduction of sound elements such as vocals, musical instruments, TV dialogue or sound effects at the most suitable volume requires exceptional precision. Yamaha achieves this through its well-known sound character, which is defined by tonal balance and a wide "sound stage" that allows the most precise details and rich harmonies to come to the fore.

Music, at its core, represents the connection of one sound with another. The creation of such phrases, with added pauses, gives the sound or music the impression of alternating expression of strength and tenderness. In its devices, Yamaha really strives for dynamics in the sound in order to achieve the strongest possible impression of that contrast.

The listener will experience the compositions and performances as if they were really there - whether it is the front row at a concert or the best seat in the theater. Yamaha approaches spatial expression with care and precision, accurately reproducing the sound image to convey not only the position of the instrument or the artist, but the very artistic movement that the combination of sounds creates.

-Dolby Atmos® with height virtualization

For those who don't have in-ceiling or upward-facing speakers in their system, Dolby Atmos® with Height Virtualization technology simulates the Atmos experience even with forward-facing speakers. The configuration allows for up to five speakers to replicate the effect of two in-ceiling speakers, or all seven channels can be used to simulate the powerful effect of four speakers above the listener. The implemented "Dolby Surround upmixer" also improves the playback of old content.

-DTS:X®

DTS:X audio formatting places sound where it would naturally appear in space, creating a multidimensional sound full of life. The included spatial remapping via the DTS Neural:X™ engine offers increased realism and immersion.

-CINEMA DSP 3D for movies, music and games

This unique Yamaha surround technology is created by combining room sound measurement data with digital signal processing. Yamaha has collected space data from famous concert halls and music clubs around the world, using its extensive experience in the fields of concert hall design, sound and mixing. By digitizing this extensive collection of information, it effectively reproduces the spaces of concert halls and music clubs in the listener's home.

-Improved playback of compressed music

When music is encoded in a digitally compressed format like MP3, the frequency response suffers. Yamaha uses sophisticated digital signal processing using exclusive algorithms to restore what's lost, so music always sounds the way it should.

- "Wedge" anti-resonance technology

"Wedge" anti-resonance technology (ART) is the fifth leg in the middle of the base of the device case. It reduces vibrations from transformers, power transistors and heatsinks, as well as vibrations that might be caused by speaker sound - delivering dynamic sound and focused, precise reproduction.

-HDR10+

HDR10+ signals not only capture the dynamic range (light-to-dark ratio) of video content on a frame-by-frame basis, but provide meta data with scene characteristics between light and dark to preserve important details. This allows displays to reproduce images more realistically, adhering to the creator's intent.

-ALLM, VRR

These enhanced features provide an extra level of smooth and seamless motion and frame transitions for games, movies and videos. These include: "Auto Low Latency Mode" (ALLM) which allows the ideal video latency to be set automatically, enabling smooth and uninterrupted viewing and lag-free interaction. Also, variable refresh rate (VRR) reduces or eliminates lag, stuttering, and frame tearing for smoother, more detailed gameplay.

-YPAO™-RSC (Reflected Sound Control)

YPAO™-RSC (Reflected Sound Control) analyzes the acoustics of the room using the YPAO™ microphone that comes with the device to adjust the system for the best sound in the given space. This technology corrects early sound reflections in the room to achieve studio-quality surround sound.

- SCENES

The four "SCENE" buttons can be preset for different inputs, such as HDMI, CD Player, Internet radio, DAB/FM radio, USB input, Streaming service or songs from a computer on the NAS network. After installation, by simply pressing the button on the device or the remote control, the desired sound source is switched on.

-MusicCast™ application

The user can use his "smart-phone" or tablet, and through the application "Yamaha MusicCast" control this AV receiver quickly and easily. The same app works as a remote control for all other MusicCast-compatible devices.
