Musical Fidelity has a long history of designing outstanding turntables, and the Roundtable is no exception. A great deal of effort is required to ensure that, for the first time, all deck components are designed and positioned to guarantee that the product is perfectly, statically balanced, and that its center of gravity is at the pivot point of the main bearing. Other premium components include: high carbon tool steel polished bearing – for extremely long life and frictionless performance – extremely inert chassis and suspension system and a very high quality lift arm, commonly used on higher priced products. The board is made of finely processed high-density MDF and has a large mass and low resonance. The base is made of a similarly bulky, low-resonance material. The legs are also part of the insulation system. The Roundtable offers a stable, low-resonance platform for playing vinyl discs. In addition, the Roundtable has another unique feature – the main bearing is the center of the turntable. It is the point around which everything revolves, everything is focused and everything is physically balanced.
