Description

The REKKORD F400 is a fully automatic sub-chassis turntable that is not only the pinnacle of sonic performance, but also an eye-catcher. The entire automatic system, as well as the tone knob and damped aluminum plate, are built on a floating sub-chassis platform that is separate from the rest of the chassis. The F400 has a massless tracking force adjustment that optimizes the center of gravity directly in the center of the bearing. The automatic system is adjusted by experienced technicians, and is based on a very complex mechanism that has traditionally matured and further developed over decades. A pre-customized high quality Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is mounted on a carbon fiber reinforced head shell that offers a perfect connection to the aluminum handle. 2M Red is a multipurpose cartridge that provides an open and dynamic sound with a slight touch of warmth. Cables, dust cover and one adapter come with the turntable.
